Infinix and Flipkart go micro with a creative billboard campaign that’s hard to miss

Those billboards are mini-billboards strategically placed on hyperlocal touchpoints in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Each of these billboards carries sharp, cheeky messages, bringing out the smartphone's key features- from a Sony camera sensor to a slim-in-class curved display to a 144Hz refresh rate.

Low footprint, high impact now, as this becomes an online phenomenon, social media is filled with posts by creators, meme pages, influencers on platforms like Twitter, and even thought leaders on LinkedIn, i.e., all those who seem pleased with this clever, simple, catchy campaign. Flipkart's leadership mentioned that the objective was to penetrate the traditional tech clutter of marketing and focus on meaningful differentiation. "We needed an innovative way to deliver our message of category innovation. These tiny ads turned out to be a huge success," a spokesperson said. "I won't be surprised if other brands follow suit."

To add to it all, the campaign further extended to live activations-placing people with placards in front of competitor billboards to applaud the difference in messaging.
