Job Summary
One website. Your numbers. No client servicing. Own Excellent Publicity's organic and AI-search presence end to end: one domain, direct tech access, and qualified enquiries as the outcome. Since 2011 we have planned and bought media for 5,000+ brands including the likes of Google, RBI, IIM-A, Amazon, Uber and Apple, across 3,00,000+ successful campaigns. We are an energetic young team of almost 100 people across Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru & Dubai, with a strong in-house tech team building superlative AI-powered products. Buyers searching media costs, formats and agencies, or asking AI tools who to use, are high-intent prospects. Make Excellent Publicity visible and cited when those searches happen. Every enquiry you capture routes straight to our sales pods.
What you will actually do:
SEO, the foundation
- Own technical SEO: crawlability, indexation, architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data and JavaScript rendering.
- Build keyword and content strategy around buyer intent: rates, costs, cities, media formats and "how do I advertise on X" queries.
- Scale programmatic SEO across media format and city pages with our in-house tech team.
- Own on-page SEO, internal linking, content briefs, digital PR and link acquisition.
- Own Google Business Profile: services, categories, posts and updates, photos, Q&A, reviews and local-search consistency.
AEO & GEO, where it is going
- Get Excellent Publicity cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini for agency, cost and campaign-planning queries.
- Track AI share of voice, and own our Knowledge Panel, entity and citation footprint, schema and source-authority signals.
- Maintain credible participation on Reddit, Quora and relevant communities: answer buyer questions, join discussions, and publish and update useful posts that strengthen brand mentions, SEO and AI-search citation potential.
Reporting
- Monthly GA4 and Search Console reporting focused on qualified enquiries from organic and AI search.
Tools you will use:
Ahrefs · GSC · GA4 · Screaming Frog · Semrush · schema · Looker Studio · AI-search tracking tools.
Full stack paid for, plus a course and conference budget.
Who we are looking for:
- One live URL you have ranked, plus a clear explanation of what you did.
- You understand why pages rank and can work comfortably with Search Console and spreadsheets.
- You have experimented with AI search and understand sources, entities, mentions and citations.
- Clear written English for briefs, answers, posts and content.
- You want ownership of one domain and results that compound over time.
Bonus: HTML and CSS, WordPress, Webflow or Next.js, automation, programmatic or affiliate SEO.
