Job Summary
The Head of Accounts will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial and accounting activities within the organization and assist in strategic decision-making.. This position requires 7 to 10 years of experience with deep understanding of statutory compliances & effective financial planning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies & policies to achieve financial goals and objectives
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports and analysis to the team and stakeholders
- Oversee the entire accounting process
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
- Coordinate the year-end closing process and liaise with external auditors for annual audits
- Ensure Statutory compliances are followed and practiced as per the rules
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Implement and monitor processes to prevent fraud, errors, and discrepancies in financial records
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team with providing training, and professional development opportunities
- Ensure workload distribution is effectively done
- Optimize cash utilization
- Implement strategies to manage working capital efficiently
Key Skills Required
- Qualified CA with 7 years to 10 years of work experience financial management and accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and statutory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Must have worked on Tally ERP, Tally Prime
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
